Began college as a first generation immigrant. Self financed my entire education by working two jobs
Within three months of serving I was promoted to a shift leader. I trained in bartending and eventually took over their social media. After 2 months of posting consistently I Increased engagement by 20 percent and had an average of 200 more likes per post.
Became a certified translator and interpreter for English and Spanish. Went through diversity training and worked as a self contractor. Took several courses in linguistics and grammar at James Madison University.
Volunteered at my uncle's school Scuole Billingue di Lucca. Helped teach English classes and create lesson plans for kids 10-12 years old. Immersed myself in Italian culture.
Writing for JMU Shout out! developed my passion for learning and writing about social issues. I continue to spread awareness on social justice issues through my instagram and twitter.
